I received this email from one of my friends and favorite food bloggers, Jacquie of Edibletcetera’s, and felt the need to share these ideas with you.

These will make you feel both elated and stupid simultaneously for finding a solution to your everyday problems and for wondering as to why the thought never occurred to you before.

25 Clever Ideas to Make Life Easier:

Hull strawberries easily using a straw.

Rubbing a walnut over scratches in your furniture
will disguise dings and scrapes.

Remove crayon masterpieces from your TV or
computer screen with WD40.

Stop cut apples browning in your child’s lunch box
by securing with a rubber band.

    Excellent ideas! Here is one more I just came up with recently. Save the little packets that come in all sorts of packaging that say ” do not eat.”. They are there to absorb moisture. Keep them in the mud room and when kids come in with wet boots, throw a couple in each boot. Next morning the boots are dry!

    Hi Jillian! BRILLIANT! Love these ideas, esp. putting my cell phone in a bowl to hear it better – even when I put it on speaker phone whilst I’m making dinner, often I still can’t hear it. I think this is better than a hearing aide, no? :) I’ve done the sheets in a pillow slip – Martha Stewart taught me that. But super ideas here!
